Photo Story 3 and Movie Maker
In recent days, I dabbled with a couple of free software from Microsoft: Photo Story 3 for Windows and Windows Movie Maker. The first I used it to create slideshows from photos, while the second one I used to mount the presentations and to add recipients titles and sound.
For the novice user needs, Photo Story is almost perfect, in a few minutes you can prepare a complete presentation of dignity. The only limitation is the lack of effect of entry of the photographs, you can modify the transition between a photo and the other, but just as an example, you can rotate a photo or make it go in one side. For those who are really inexperienced, I suggest you use photos in jpg format, sized at about 2 Mpixel normal quality (mean quality jpg, pictures bad throw). Since the final product will be a movie, it makes no sense to use higher quality or size. The output format 800x600 PC is more than adequate to evaluate the effect and allows to work with a certain speed.
Movie Maker is a bit 'more delicate and create a movie that lasts longer than 10 minutes requires a lot of patience i) sometimes the software crashes and you have to close and restart the process since the last save, ii) mp3 audio tracks are cut so obscene and so you should spend some 'time to try to cut them in the right places so as not to hear strange noises, iii) audio tracks are not anchored to the movies but I am floating The addition of a trace causes erratic movement of the next.

Megan Goods Short Hari Cut
Since I do not go to the movies so often, it is worth telling when I do. Last night it was the turn of the X-Files. Considering that the series of the show was out for almost fifteen years in the U.S. and taking into account that younger fans will have between 25 and 30 years, the film "X-Files I Want to Believe " is a real insult to ' intelligence of the audience.
The plot follows two strands of Scully's life: a story about the investigation at the center of the film, while the other is about the occupation of doctor. The first is so muddled and inconsistent as to vanish the little 'suspense created by the unfolding of events. The second one is extremely trite and predictable (the plot is not the story, seeing is believing). The part assigned to the priest Billy Connolly is quite original, but not enough to rehabilitate the film. In conclusion I would say that the scene of Carter and Spotnitz is really poor, worthy of a film series B.
The only things that are subject to the two female performers: Gillian Anderson and Amanda Peet and photography (for what else?) With close-ups and the fuzzy so beautiful to drool. I forgot, the credits, of course, be seen until the end.

Photo Workshop with Mario Verin
Last weekend I attended a workshop on nature photography in the Alps Julian with the photographer Mario Verin mountaineer and academic CAI. The workshop lasted nearly two and a half days, from morning to evening (in the true sense of the word). Apart from the many valuable tips for Mario and his wife Julia, observe and work in the field along with a professional is definitely the most interesting part of the whole workshop.
What I learned from this workshop? So many things, among which I hope I have learned to make better pictures. Two points I have been impressed more than any other. The forests may be more interesting than they appear. Digital photographs, after being output from the camera, still require much work before they can fully make the photographer's intentions.

With the usual 10 days late, I've added the gallery of photos of the last excursion. From Fielis (hamlet of Zuglio) Mount Tamai, going for a while 'to summer pastures. Trip very worthwhile in terms of scenery. The huts to be found along the route are very well maintained and renovated, but still closed.
From Fielis long the ride is about 20 km ina and the drop is just under 1300m. For those who did not want to trek so much, a fixed course equivalent from the point of view of the landscape, starting directly from the share of the 1730 Monte Zoncolan, easily reached by car. The climb to the mountain do not recommend Tamai because at the top you are greeted by the pylons of a ski lift recently built, is certainly better Arvenis climb the mountain that is right there in front and enjoy a less polluted landscape.
