The day does not bode well but, given the clear sky, this afternoon I decided to go to photograph a kingfisher. Uploaded the tripod and the K100D in the car I headed towards the Fossalon Grade. 
With a good dose of luck and the help of the forthcoming breeding season of kingfishers, I really expected shortly before Martin was to make a fine show. In just under an hour, between a dive to catch some fish and a flight to chase a Martin, has tried practically all roosts available in the area.
For once, a lot of satisfaction with little effort!
